Casio’s first wristwatch, the CASIOTRON, launched in 1974, was the world’s first digital watch equipped with an auto-calendar function. Since then, Casio has constantly pursued originality and innovation, and with features such as solar charging systems, radio wave reception, and smartphone linking, Casio’s spirit of craftsmanship that creates something from nothing has been passed down without interruption, accelerating the evolution of watches. This limited edition model commemorating Casio Watch’s 50th anniversary is a G-SHOCK full metal chronograph in black and gold, inspired by the “light of beginnings” that create new value.
The coloring is inspired by the “light of beginnings” that creates new value.
The black and gold, which express Casio’s manufacturing spirit of creating “from 0 to 1,” evokes the image of a light shining in the darkness. A single link on the black ion-plated band is gold, and “50th ANNIVERSARY” is laser engraved on it. A
