Product description
Introducing a collaboration model between G-SHOCK and the globally beloved animated series “Evangelion,” which continues to attract new fans. To mark the 30th anniversary of the TV series, we commissioned Ikuto Yamashita, the mechanical designer for the “Evangelion” series, to design this collaboration model. He created a new design proposal to capture the world of Evangelion. The base model, the GA-110, is the same as the first collaboration in 2010. Evangelion designs are scattered throughout the G-SHOCK, with the distinctive horns of Evangelion Unit-01 on the short band, Unit-01’s face on the bezel, and the left arm clutching the Spear of Longinus, ready to throw, stretching from the bottom of the bezel to the long band. Casio utilized its processing technology to faithfully recreate Yamashita’s design. The face is also ingeniously designed, with an angel motif on the inset dial hand at 9 o’clock, and the Y-shaped part that divides the dial features the striking CAUTION pattern from the series. The world of Evangelion is expressed in every detail, with “NEON GENESIS” engraved on the band ring, the NERV logo on the tip of the band, and the 30th anniversary logo engraved on the case back. It is finished in a special edition that matches the special packaging.
