The ninja motif embodies G-SHOCK’s “Never Give Up” identity, and is linked to the image of the tough ninja, who once served powerful shoguns and feudal lords and engaged in a variety of activities. The base model is the classic digital DW-5600. This time, the design is inspired by the Suiton technique (DW-5600NNJ), a ninja technique said to be used by ninjas, and features shuriken, a projectile weapon used by ninjas, on the dial, backlight, and case back.
