The G-SHOCK Master of G series, relentlessly pursuing toughness and pushing the limits, introduces the Rangeman, designed for use in some of the harshest environments on Earth: hot, rainy jungles and dense forests. To ensure that rangers and rescue workers operating in extreme environments can quickly and reliably display the information they need to survive, this watch features a new toughness structure and, for the first time in a G-SHOCK, a triple sensor (as of September 2013). A new toughness structure, the “Button Guard Cylinder Structure,” was developed specifically for the Master of G Rangeman. The unique cylindrical button guard reduces impact on the large metal buttons, enabling smooth and accurate operation. Additionally, the sensor buttons, which display frequently used information like altitude, direction, and barometric pressure/temperature, feature a metal cylinder guard to absorb side impacts, prevent foreign objects from entering, and ensure smooth and accurate button operation. The watch also features functionality, operability, and a finish designed for specialists operating in harsh environments. A new feature allows you to directly display the most recently used sensor mode by pressing the sensor button, regardless of the alarm, timer, or other mode. Each mode also has three levels of audible alerts, allowing you to intuitively confirm which mode you activated when pressing the button. Furthermore, the watch features a direct timestamp function, allowing you to easily memorize the time with a single push for mission execution or emergency situations, and a stopwatch that can be quickly started with a single push. The watch features a carbon fiber insert band with excellent tensile strength, and metal parts for the buttons, side screws, and band ring, enhancing durability and enhancing the tough design.
